How did yeoul come to be, and why is it for India?
We are a Korean woman and an Indian man who met in Spain while pursuing our studies. After moving to India, we became part of local communities and began hearing real stories about people’s struggles with skincare. Many were frustrated by the hype around Korean skincare, believing that following a 10-step routine or using a specific product would automatically give them flawless glass skin. When results didn’t match expectations, they felt disappointed and confused. We realized that true skincare is not about trends, complicated routines, or hype. It is about understanding the real needs of people and the daily challenges of their skin. This insight became the foundation of yeoul, a brand built by listening, observing, and creating with Indian skin and lifestyle in mind.
What makes yeoul different from other Korean skincare brands in India?
India is truly unique. Its climate, the daily lives of its people, and the way they care for their skin all create challenges that are different from anywhere else. Many Korean brands make products for Korean skin or a broad global audience, and in some cases, being “Made in Korea” is emphasized more as a label than as a reflection of careful formulation for Indian skin.
At yeoul, we began with a deep understanding of real Indian skin concerns. We partnered with one of Korea’s top skincare manufacturers and tested our formulas extensively on Indian users, refining them with feedback again and again. Our first line features upcycled yuja from Goheung, Korea, and future collections will continue to blend distinctive natural ingredients from both Korea and India. Every skincare product is still carefully developed and made in Korea, ensuring the highest quality you can trust.

We tested each product extensively with real Indian users over multiple cycles of feedback, refining textures, absorption, and combinations of ingredients each time. By combining Korean expertise with a deep understanding of Indian skin, climate, and daily routines, we ensure that every product performs exceptionally and meets the real needs of the people who use it.
